Justin Timberlake is intent on world domination for his new comeback, and the most recent announcement is one to make his UK fans go crazy. It was confirmed today that the singer will be performing at this years BRIT Awards for his first live performance in the country for six years, and as the show will be broadcast live it will also be a UK TV exclusive.

The three time BRIT Award winner will be joining Robbie Williams, Muse, Mumford & Sons, Emeli Sandé, One Direction and Ben Howard on the night to perform his new material from “The 20/20 Experience” as well as hits from his back catalogue. More performers are yet to be announced, with rumours of Beyoncé also taking to the stage at the award ceremony floating around.

Speaking on the massive coup of bagging such an in-demand artist for his first, live comeback performance, BRITs Chairman David Joseph says, “Justin is an exceptional artist with global appeal and unrivalled successes.  We are thrilled to add him to a stellar line-up that will celebrate an amazing year of music and make this one of the strongest BRIT live shows to date.”

This years awards ceremony will be taking place in the O2 Arena – poetically the same arena Justin held his last solo concert in 2007 – on Wednesday February 20th, and the show will be aired live and exclusively on ITV1.
