After weeks of speculation, American Idol have named icon Mariah Carey as their newest judge for the show’s latest series.
The announcement was made by Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly during the channel’s meeting with The Television Critics Association in California on Monday evening.
The star will be reportedly earning a whopping 18 million dollar paycheck for the role, which will give her the title of highest paid judge on any reality show. Read more

Wiz Khalifa, J. Cole hosting official Wireless Festival afterparty at Proud2 | UK Events
Music fans will be heading to London's Hyde Park in droves from Friday onwards for this year’s Wireless Festival.
The three-day, genre-defying event will see performances from a whole host of the music industry’s top players including headliners DeadMau5, Drake and Rihanna.
As expected, many of the performers will celebrate their performances by hosting and attending swanky afterparties throughout London and we’ve got just the recommendation for which you should attend.
On Saturday night, Choice FM and PhatNights will bring you the official Wiz Khalifa afterparty at Proud2 in Greenwich. Fresh off his Wireless performance, the Taylor Gang rapper will be hosting the party alongside Roc Nation's J.Cole, who is due to perform at the festival on Sunday.

Nas, Plan B, Santigold + more to play Converse 'Represent' events at 100 Club | UK Events
Taking place over the course of July and August, Converse's Represent concert series is dubbed as a "unique live experience" in which some of music's finest artists play free shows at London's 350-capacity 100 Club.
The lineup is a unique mix of the old and new, all of whom have arguably made their own mark on the industry and paved the way for a new sound. Some of the names include Nas, Plan B, Santigold and Paul Weller. Each gig will be streamed live on the Converse Facebook page for those who can't be there.
