Geeks worldwide rejoice, the latest peek at Marvel’s forthcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past blockbuster has arrived in the form of the official UK trailer, which follows the teaser trailer which was released back in October.

Loosely based on the 1980 storyline that ran in The Uncanny X-Men issues #141 and #142, the movie which acts as a sequel to both 2006′s X-Men: The Last Stand and 2011′s X-Men: First Class, sees Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman) having his consciousness sent back in time by the present day Professor X (played by Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) in order to help the 1973 version of Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) stop the rise of the Sentinels and the the extermination of the mutant race.
