The famed Ivor Novello Awards which specialises in recognising songwriting and composing talent – this year sees Adele and Ed Sheeran among the stars nominated for the 57th Awards.

Leading the pack is Adele who, having recently scooped up a host of Grammy awards has been shortlisted for four Ivor Novello gongs. “Rolling In The Deep” finds itself in Best Song Musically and Lyrically, as well as PRS for Most Performed Work, alongside “Someone Like You”.

Her record-breaking album 21 is also up for the night’s Album Award.

Ed Sheeran’s ‘The A Team’ is also nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

The awards will take place on May 17th.
